Hopefully this concern is short lived, but as an association, we want to remain proactive and will continue working on member initiatives and support wherever possible during this difficult time.”
Dear WCTA Members,
With our annual conference and trade show just a few weeks away, I’d like to thank all WCTA members and non-WCTA members alike who have already signed up. The earlier we receive registrations, the better it is for planning such a big event.
Networking is such a big part of developing our careers; however, it’s something that often gets overlooked or just brushed off as socializing. In my last message, I spoke about how great the people in our industry are.
The new year is always a great time to reflect on the past. Looking back, 2019 was a great year for the Western Canada Turfgrass Association. We accomplished many goals and reached some key milestones that we had set out as an association. We also dealt with an unexpected curve ball with the WorkSafe BC Roll Over Protection amendments.
