Message from the WCTA President – Sep/Oct 2020

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected all of us this year, and it seems it will continue to do so well into 2021. Our WCTA board, like many other industry associations, has been faced with many difficult decisions. We have talked long and hard about the effects of the pandemic and what we need to do to best serve our members during these difficult times. We have polled our membership to get a sense of what is needed and we have explored numerous options for continued education and networking opportunities. As a board we have remained hopeful that holding our 2021 conference live and in-person would be still a possibility.

Message from the WCTA President – April 2020

Dear WCTA Members and Colleagues,

On March 18, we sent you the following note, “During the Covid-19 concern, the WCTA will be sending essential communications only.  Hopefully this concern is short lived, but as an association, we want to remain proactive and will continue working on member initiatives and support wherever possible during this difficult time.”

With so much uncertainty in the world right now, it’s interesting to look back to just a few months ago and realize how much we have overcome already.  We were all likely wondering what effect a pandemic would have on our communities, our economy, and even our own turf industry.

Conference Message from the WCTA President

Dear WCTA Members,

With our annual conference and trade show just a few weeks away, I’d like to thank all WCTA members and non-WCTA members alike who have already signed up.  The earlier we receive registrations, the better it is for planning such a big event.
