David John Harrison
September 15 1952- November 13 2015
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, husband, father and grandfather. David was born September 15, 1952 in Vancouver and passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 13, 2015.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting the Western Canada Turfgrass Association and for the ongoing commitment to your career and the industry through WCTA membership.
2016 member dues invoicing is in progress. Individuals will receive an invoice by mail; facilities with more than one member will receive a single invoice via email.
We are in a state of dynamic change in our association, the Turf Management Industry and the world around us. Change is coming from all directions at all times, from both internal and external sources. The WCTA needs leaders who can manage that change, ensuring the association remains strong and successful moving forward.

As a long time contributing member of both the WCTA and the BCGSA who has been taking a break from this wonderful working environment over the past 3 years or so, and who has been recently over the past year, back at it so to speak, I have taken it upon myself to write this open letter to the membership of both associations.

The Western Canada Turfgrass Association (WCTA), in partnership with the First Green Foundation, has launched the first program in Canada that brings environmental education to grade 5 through 12 students using golf courses as learning labs.
