First Green and Western Canada Turfgrass Association have an MOU in place for First Green program delivery in Canada. WCTA hosted the Canadian inaugural event at a Vancouver private club, Vancouver Golf Club in 2014 followed by a public course event in 2015 at Redwoods Golf Course.
The Continuing Education Credit (CEU) tracking program is designed to promote ongoing education toward pesticide certificate renewal and is encouraged by the Ministry of Environment who would rather see applicators engaged in ongoing education to stay current than writing a test every 5 years.
It is with great sadness that Casey Mahan, beloved husband of Loralie Ann Mahan (nee Penner) of Calgary, AB, passed away in the presence of his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer on November 15, 2017 at the age of 51 years.
