The Western Canada Turfgrass Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America at the end of July, continuing its involvement with the one-of-a-kind environmental education program.

The annual BC Golf Superintendents Association Exchange Tournament takes place August 19-21 at Two Eagles Golf Course in West Kelowna and for its education component, the First Green program will be featured.

It had been some time since a sportsturf field day was hosted by UBC but that all changed on Wednesday, June 13th.
July 23, 2018 – The future of Canada’s professional turf and grounds maintenance industry is in good hands. From coast to coast, several bright, young superstars have been making a difference in the industry, paving the way for the next wave of up-and-coming professionals.
