Long Time WCTA Member Retires

Excerpt from an e-mail sent to a number of customers, colleagues, previous employers and suppliers:

After 35 years of being involved in the seed business in B.C., Don Biggin, Manager of BC Operations for Pickseed, has decided to move on to the next chapter in his life. 

This will allow more time with his spouse and best friend, Liz and much more time with daughters and their husbands/partners, grandchildren, extended family, friends, to pursue other interests and …. more travel!

Stated Don,

"With regards to customer companies, I have worked with many of the same companies for the past 35 years, though, often with different contacts.  In a few cases, I have had the privilege of working with the same person for the entire time!  Other customer companies I have worked with sporadically, some are recent customers and a few, for one reason or another, I have not worked with for many years, but I believe, there has always been a mutual respect."

"Colleagues, previous employers and suppliers, along with the companies and certainly the people mentioned above are what have contributed to the many, many memories I will now be able to fondly reflect upon from time to time.  I have very much appreciated the contact I have had with each of you.  On the one hand, I am going to miss what I have been doing for so many years, but I am also looking forward to the change and this next chapter in our lives."
