BC Minimum Wage Increases to $16.75/hour on June 1

On June 1, 2023, B.C.'s lowest-paid workers will get a pay raise with the general minimum wage increasing from $15.65 to $16.75 an hour.

Reminder - Free Online IPM Manual For Turf Available

A major rewrite to the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Manual for Turfgrass Managers, originally a resource produced in partnership between the Western Canada Turfgrass Association and the BC Ministry of Agriculture in the early 2000's and last updated in 2009, was completed in January 2020.

Metro-Vancouver Watering Restriction Reminder

This email is a reminder that Stage 1 watering restrictions will be in effect, rain or shine, from May 1 until October 15, 2023 as outlined in  Metro Vancouver’s Drinking Water Conservation Plan.
