Nominations Open for 2024 Leading Women in Turf

Nominate a deserving individual from the industry today

 

Turf & Rec is looking to honour four women from the turf industry who best fit the title of Leading Women in Turf.

Nominations are now open and will close on Dec. 20.

We are looking for candidates that best meet the following criteria:

- Expertise and knowledge of the industry, including agronomy and people management
- Leadership and innovation skills, including contributions that benefit their company and their ability to mentor others
- Professional achievement, including successful projects and awards
- Community involvement, including achievements outside the workplace

Our panel of judges include:

- Morgan Creighton, assistant superintendent at Woodside Golf Course in Airdrie, Alta. and founder of a program that mentors women entering the industry
- Jennifer Lemcke, CEO of The Weed Man and a past honouree of Turf & Recs Women in Turf promotion
- Dr. Sara Stricker, communications co-ordinator at the Guelph Turfgrass Institute and a past honouree of Turf & Recs Women in Turf promotion
