AGA-BC Reminds Golf Courses to Review COVID BMP’s as Season Gets Underway

With many seasonal golf courses open or preparing to open, the Allied Golf Association of British Columbia is encouraging all BC golf businesses to:

1. Refresh yourselves on the COVID-19 Protection - Best Practices for the Responsible Operations of BC Golf Courses as there are a few new requirements since some courses closed last fall, such as daily health checks for all employees.

2. Ensure your COVID-19 Safety Plan is posted on your website! To assist employers, WorkSafeBC has developed the resource Reviewing and updating your COVID-19 safety plan: A guide for employers, available at www.worksafebc.com

3. Refrain from travel advertising until the current provincial health directive for the avoidance of non-essential travel is lifted.

4. Refrain from hosting public events as there is a current provincial health order restricting gatherings and travel for sport.
