Tourney for Turf Research Cancelled

The warm early season weather has made things extremely busy for turf managers so the decision has been made to forego the Inaugural ‘Tourney Fore Turf Research’ scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Redwoods Golf Course.

After careful thought, the organizing team made the tough call to cancel this year’s event. We truly appreciate all the interest and support for this new fundraiser but the timing just wasn’t working.

A big thank you to Peter Szarka for being a willing host and to Stan Kazymerchyk for stepping up to organize. We were looking forward to a fun day on the course with everyone.

Depending on interest, we could look at hosting a golf outing in the future.
