2025 Turf Management Field Day – As Seen from the Parking Lot

By Jerry Rousseau

It’s almost always about the turf but for all those auto enthusiasts out there, something else was worth noting at Bos Sod Farms this past September 18th.

Yes, there were a handful of pretty cool vehicles in the parking lot and I’ve always wondered if a turfie show and shine would ever work.  Regardless, weather was perfect and there were a few who took the initiative on their own.

Bert asked me, how many cars do you think will be coming?  I really had no idea but Bos Sod was very prepared with plenty of free parking!

Mint mid-eighties Firebird daily driver.

Classic fire engine red stepside.

This 911 will get you to the sod farm on time!

Not exactly classic but check out the plate.

It’s never serious with WCTA Past President Stu Carmichael😀!

Special thanks to our KPU Student parking control volunteers, Adam Archibald, Aidan Murphy and Brett MacNeil!
