Look Who's Joined the WCTA - May 2026 Update

As a unified voice for the professional golf and sportsturf management industry in western Canada, the WCTA is 692 members strong as of May 9, 2026!

At this time of year, most members have paid annual dues (nearly 80%) and as we call those who haven't, we learn about retirements, those who have left the industry, changed jobs and so on.  That often translates to non-renewals but at the same time, new members come onboard when they replace those who've left or are just joining to take advantage of everything the WCTA has on offer.

Welcome and thank you for your support and confidence in our association - let your friends and colleauges know there's still a ton of room in the WCTA😀.

NEW/RETURNING MEMBERS SINCE LAST REPORT IN MARCH:

Ante Bajic - Whitestar Property Services
Derek Krahn - City of Edmonton
Brian Lewicki - Quilchena Golf & Country Club
Brody Long - Sanscorp Products Ltd.
Russ Lyons - Kwantlen Polytechnic University - School of Horticulture
Bill Posthumus - KGH Equipment

Congratulations to the following recently retired WCTA member(s):

Don Singlehurst - Royal Colwood Golf Club
Ernie Whitelaw - Mt. Brenton Golf Course

Whether you're from the golf, sportsfield, supply chain or any other turf industry sector, we would like to see your name on our new member list!

Why?  Because far more can be accomplished together than by each sector working on their own.  One voice, pulling the same direction, avoiding duplication, whatever the cliche, it's the most effective and sensible approach, especially when our industry is facing tough issues.

If you know someone who would benefit from a WCTA membership, ie Turf Line News, annual conference, membership roster, job postings, CEC program, etc, have them visit our member value proposition page at http://wcta-online.com/the-wcta/membership-x
