As another summer comes to an end, it is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of DICKIE, James Douglas (Jim). Jim lived most of his life in North Vancouver before moving to Agassiz a year and a half ago.

I hope this message finds you well. On a personal note, I am thrilled to share that I have recently been promoted to Acting Manager of Parks at the City of Courtenay. The transition into this new role has kept me incredibly busy, and for that reason, I apologize for the delay in sending this President’s message.

I hope you had a happy holiday season and are ready to welcome in 2024! As I look back on the last year, I find myself very grateful for the incredible strides we've made together. It's been a year filled with remarkable events, dedicated advocacy and tremendous growth within our community of turf management professionals.
