With the current drought situation affecting many regions of western Canada, especially the coast and Vancouver Island, we're looking for some imagery that will help us show how turf managers are conserving water.

First Green program uses golf courses as environmental learning labs, where students can do things like study plant species and measure water velocity.

At the 2015 Annual General Meeting held Wednesday, March 11th in Victoria, BC, an election of WCTA Officers and Directors was held. The new Board is presented below. A note from WCTA President to outgoing Directors follows.
Long time WCTA member Jim O’Connor, recently retired, was honoured with a life membership at the 2015 Western Canada Turfgrass Association Conference and Trade Show that took place early March at the Victoria Conference Centre in Victoria, BC. A record crowd of 192 WCTA members were on hand at the Annual General Meeting where Jim’s son, Casey O’Connor, presented the award to his deserving father and mentor.
